My Go-To Makeup Products
- Buxom Lash Volumizing Mascara
If I have some money to splurge on makeup, Buxom mascara is the first product in my cart. It costs $23 at Sephora and is the best mascara I have tried thus far. The wand has a subtle hourglass shape that makes it easy to apply to the lashes. There is even a waterproof option.
- e.l.f Cosmetics Powder
I use both the Prime & Stay Finishing Powder as well as the High Definition Powder. For a retail price of $4.00-$5.00 at Target, it is hard to beat.
- Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner
I will be the first to admit that I am not very good at applying makeup in general. Eyeliner was absolutely terrifying to me when I first started wearing it. This liquid eyeliner is perfect for subtly lining your upper lash line. This also runs for $23 at Sephora.
- Clean & Clear Oil Blotting Wipes
While not exactly a makeup product, I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my first pack of blotting wipes at Walgreens. These are a must have during the summer when you skin gets oily and sweaty. They remove the oil without messing up your foundation.
- e.l.f Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil
I have always wanted to try filling in my eyebrows and this pencil was only $3 at Target. It is perfect for a light filler that still looks very natural.
- Neutrogena Serum Foundation
I have posted a product review of the Neutrogena Serum Foundation, but I wanted to mention it again. For $15, it is perfect for a light foundation during the summer.
