5 Movies Now on my Netflix Watch List

5 Movies on my Netflix Watch List

For the month of September, I have a growing list of movies building up on my watch list. Here are the five movies at the top of my September Movie Bucket List.

  1. Morbius

I have not exactly heard rave reviews about this movie since it came out in theaters earlier this year. However, the poor reviews have only piqued my interest more, so I added Morbius to my watch list as soon as I saw it come up on my Netflix homepage. I am a big Spider-Man fan, so I am curious to see if there are any callbacks to past Spider-Man movies.

  1. The Age of Adaline

I remember seeing this trailer come up in theaters when I was watching The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. I had meant to watch this movie when it came out in theaters, but it completely slipped my mind at the time. Though romance is not my go-to genre, I like Blake Lively as an actress and want to finally see what this movie is all about.

  1. The Notebook

Everyone knows about The Notebook. This 2004 romance has been everywhere for years, yet I have not sat down to watch it myself. I want to finally check this off of my list and understand what all the hype is about. If this movie doesn’t make me cry, then I am going to be seriously concerned.

  1. Uncharted

My original plan was to play the Uncharted games before watching the movie, but I think I am going to change my mind and watch the movie first before it is taken off of Netflix. This is another movie that came out earlier this year that I had every intention of watching in theaters. It seems like this film had some mixed reviews, so I am eager to watch it. Tom Holland is one of my favorite actors at the moment, so I have high hopes.

  1. He’s Just Not That Into You

Romantic comedies are, again, not my usual movie genre— but this movie is hard to pass up. Some of the cast members include Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Afleck— it’s insane. I am excited to watch a light hearted movie. He’s Just Not That Into You came out in 2009, so I have higher hopes for this movie. It just seems like the early 2000’s and 2010’s had better movies than we do now.

(Side Rant: I really wish Netflix would put the movie’s original trailer as the preview on their site. The little clips they currently use as their previews vary in length and often do not show what the movie is really about. I know I’m being picky, but it just drives me crazy sometimes.”
