It’s terrifying
to work towards a dream
to open up your heart.
Nobody wants to lose it all.
Nobody wants years of work to crumble and fall.
It would be easier not to care.
But the easy path
will never be fulfilling.
Love is terrifying,
but love is beautiful.
Love demands to be experienced
for better or for worse.
