Don’t look for me at parties-
you won’t find me on the dance floor.
Why should I dance like no one is watching
when I can be sure I’m alone.
There is safety in solitary.
Nobody is around to judge
my face
my clothes
my voice
my hobbies
my goals.
Go.
Enjoy your night.
You’ll know where to find me
when it is time to
relax
and
recharge.
