I’m running home

to your hazel eyes;

to your diamond smile.

This heartsick mind

won’t last much longer

in your absence.

I’ll take your good with your bad.

I’ll take your last name

and forever have your back.

Not a single day

of your future

must be spent lonely.

I’ll be there for you

for as long

as I am welcome.
