My Thoughts:
I thoroughly enjoyed The Inheritance Games when I read it earlier this year. This sequel, however, raised the bar. The characters have believable growth and the story is absolutely electric. I could not put this book down until the very last page. As soon as I closed my copy, I was kicking myself for not picking up a copy of the final installment of the series, The Final Gambit.
This book is filled with so many grand twists and turns that are sure to keep readers glued to their books and playing along with Avery and the Hawthornes. This series as a whole deserves to be turned into a movie.
If you are looking for a book that will get you out of a reading slump, this is your answer.
