All of the Books I Read in November 2022
Back in January, I set a goal to read 50 books by the end of the year. With the 3 books I read in November, I am up to 49/50 books. It has been so much fun pushing myself to read new genres and watching this list grow over the year. Here are the three books I read in November:
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
I have not been a huge fan of fantasy books over the years, but I had heard great things about this series and decided to give it a shot. The story was interesting and well written. Though I currently cannot see myself continuing this series, it has made me more open to reading fantasy books in the future.
The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Since I read The Inheritance Games earlier this year, I picked up the sequel to quench my curiosity. Unfortunately The Hawthorne Legacy left me more curious about the series than before, so now I will have to pick up the final installment of the trilogy. I have been reading more mysteries lately and loving it. This is a series I know my high school self would have loved and read over and over again.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
I have not read The Fault in our Stars since I was in middle school, so it was about time for me to reread it and see how it has held up over the years. Though I have read this book at least a dozen times already, it still brought me to tears. This is a book that puts everything into perspective. It does not sugarcoat the harsh realities of life, but it also has hope glimmering throughout the pages.
