When the snow flurries to the ground
blanketing the road in ice,
take a moment by the front door
and think twice.
Is the chance of adventure
worth risking your life?
A steering wheel may appear harmless,
but it is as fatal as a knife.
Consider your options.
Come up with a plan B.
There are better ways
to spend your evening.
Do not be rash.
Do not lose your head.
So much light in your life
lies just ahead.
