10 Songs on my Christmas Playlist
It is officially ten days until Christmas arrives! Whether you are struggling to find your inner holiday cheer or are looking to change up your morning playlist, here are 10 Christmas songs that I have been loving this year:
- It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas by Michael Bublé
Michael Bublé is my go to artist for Christmas. This song is perfect as a first song on your playlist. Playing this in the car on your way to pick up some presents is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!
- All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey
Though this song gets played a lot, it is a classic for this holiday. Every time this song pops up, it brings me back to singing Christmas songs with my classmates back in school when our teachers played music in the background or decided on a karaoke day before Christmas break.
- Snowman by Sia
Sia has some great songs and Snowman is no exception. This song is fun to sing along to and makes me want to bundle up in my favorite coat and gloves to build a snowman outside.
- A Holly Jolly Christmas by Brett Eldredge
This song brings back so many memories or walking through the mall with my family and shopping for presents when I was little.
- Winter Wonderland by Tony Bennett
Like many Christmas songs, there are so many covers to choose from when it comes to the classics. Blake Shelton and Michael Bublé also sing this song and are fantastic as well. If hot chocolate on a snowy day was a song, this would be it.
- Feliz Navidad by José Feliciano
This song is another classic. This song reminds me of building gingerbread houses or decorating cookies by the warmth of the fire.
- Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee
If you are looking for a song to start off your Christmas morning to open presents to, this is a high energy song that sets the tone.
- Hallelujah by Pentatonix
Pentatonix is a great group that has many beautiful songs to listen to. Their cover of Hallelujah has been my favorite for years. As a bonus, this song also reminds me of the movie Shrek which brings back more positive memories.
- Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Sam Smith
Sam Smith’s cover of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is a necessity for your Christmas playlist this year. This song is perfect to play in the background while catching up with family and opening presents.
- Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! By Dean Martin
This song always reminds me of snow days back in school. Every time I listen to this song, I feel the excitement of looking out the window before sunrise and seeing a fresh blanket of snow covering the road under the streetlights.
Bonus- Beautiful Christmas by Big Time Rush
As a bonus, Big Time Rush is a source of warm nostalgia for me. If you grew up watching the show on Nickelodeon and listening to their music on repeat, Beautiful Christmas is a must for your playlist.
