Continue climbing that tree
even when the bark makes your hands bleed.
Don’t let society
stop you from reaching what you need.
Only one person needs to believe
in your path.

The sun always shifts,
altering the shadows it casts.
Bring some extra batters
for flashlights on your journey.
A sudden storm
could swallow all the light around you.
Never lose the supplies required
to create your own.
Your future deserves
to see all of your hard work.
