“A Living Dream”

How can I dream
when the waking hours are enough?
Life gets rough,
but it has made me tough.
I don’t want to change my past;
A perfect life would never last.
I’m content here
with love around me,
mistakes to teach me,
and a million reasons to smile.
Fame,
fortune-
it simply cannot compare
to my current stage of life.
