Songs On My Workout Playlist Now

My Current Workout Playlist

Music is a fantastic motivator when it comes to exercising. Starting a workout is the hardest part, but finding the right song makes the process more fun and energizing. Here are the top 10 songs currently on my workout playlist that help get me motivated to move my body:

  1. Unstoppable by Sia

Unstoppable is my go to song in general. I love the message of resilience and strength in the lyrics. The gradual buildup to the chorus and the upbeat background music makes this the perfect first song for any workout. This song is a real confidence builder that should be on everybody’s playlist.

  1. Superheroes by The Script

This is another motivational song that has been on my playlist for years. Every time I have the urge to skip a workout, I listen to this song and it snaps me out of my doubt. For me personally, I know I will feel so much better, both mentally and physically, after a workout session. Songs like Superheroes jumpstarts the process by getting me into a positive mindset.

  1. Rise by Katy Perry

Rise is a song that sounds like it belongs in a movie. Sometimes letting your mind drift is the best way to get through a workout. The lyrics are empowering and, combined with the engaging background track, is perfect for pushing yourself.

  1. We Remain by Christine Aguilera

It’s no secret that I love The Hunger Games. This song being on the Catching Fire soundtrack made it stick in my mind for the past decade. It is a slower song that tells a story. This song makes me feel happier and associate exercising with positivity.

  1. Ready, Aim, Fire by Imagine Dragons

This is a song that will make you want to raise the volume on your headphones. The fact that this song was featured on the Iron Man 3 soundtrack makes it even better.

  1. Higher by The Score

Anything by The Score is fantastic for a workout playlist. The rhythm and engaging lyrics make their songs spectacular.

  1. Power by Little Mix

Little Mix has some great songs that are underrated. Power is such a fun song that makes running on the treadmill fun.

  1. Radioactive by Imagine Dragons

Radioactive is the first song I heard from Imagine Dragons. There is a mashup of this song and My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) by Fall Out Boy on YouTube that is also good.

  1. Human by Rag’n’Bone Man

There is something so special about this song that has stuck with me through the years. The vulnerability in the lyrics with the physical benefits of exercising almost feels like a full reset.

  1. Genius by Sia, Diplo, LSD, Labyrinth

This song has such a unique beat that is impossible to skip.

Whether we realize it or not, the music we listen to matters. Finding music with positive messages is crucial.
