The worst part
of loving someone
is having to accept
they will not always be around.
Whether by choice
or by fate,
there will come a day
when you have to face
life without them.
You will always have the past
to revisit and cherish,
but your future-
don’t over-plan it.
When the time comes
to part ways,
surround yourself with love:
the pain comes in waves.
